바이오 신호처리 및 신경공학 연구실은

인체의 다양한 생체·행동 신호들을 효율적으로 이용하여 운동·음성·인지 기능 저하를 겪는 신경계 질환 및 마비관련 장애 환자들의 행동 특성들을 이해하여 스마트 진단 및 이를 예방, 치료하여 사람들의 삶의 질을 높이려는 꿈을 가지고 연구하고 있습니다. 이 목표를 위해, 사람 행동의 특징적인 신호를 이해하기 위한 기법으로 웨어러블 센서, Human-Computer Interaction, VR 및 메타버스, 머신러닝, 메디컬 AI 등의 기술을 이용하고 있고, 궁극적으로 의료 및 재활 현장에서 의학적 의미를 도출하려는 협업을 진행해 왔으며, 이러한 기술을 기반으로 환자들에만 아니라 다양한 작업 효율을 높일 수 있도록 연구의 장을 확장하려고 노력하고 있습니다.

We are interested in the design and development of biomedical and rehabilitation systems with embedded mobile healthcare applications, human–computer interaction, and assistive technologies to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities and neurological disorders. Our work integrates wearable sensing, VR/XR, and medical AI to extract clinically meaningful digital biomarkers of motor, voice, and cognitive function from everyday behavior in close collaboration with clinical partners.

We are looking for graduate students and postdoctoral researchers who are passionate about understanding / improving human health and physical performance for people with disabilities to improve their quality of life; experience with biomedical signal processing, embedded system desgin, virtual reality experience is preferred.
